You don´t want to waive that surf-feeling when you go on an excursion into the powder? But you also want to carve extremely precise on groomed slopes? Then you should have a look at the Pogo Impact BX model. Its effective edge length is a bit shorter than from its alpine cousin, but the board is wider. The rocker of this freeride board and the large flat nose gives extra dynamic float in powder or warmer snow. It´s simply for riding the white wave with less steep angle mounted bindings. The lively flex action of the Impact BX and the moderate width offers quicker edge to edge transfer. Thus it’s possible to carve extremely hard on iced piste. Other than hardboots it´s no problem to mount a softboot set-up to the BX Snowboards. For larger sized feet you may want to choose a steeper angle for the bindings. Pogo recommends the Phiokka Soft and the Catek Soft. With both systems you´ll have a strong edge even with a steeper binding angle.
