The Schwabian masters of their trade produce each series by hand. The strong heritage of over 25 years of board construction and the highly professional personnel will guarantee you a snowboard of best quality and long durability that did not roll off the assembly line but was produced in an elaborate, detailed and affectionate way.All boards are handmade with a traditional sandwich construction with ABS-sidewalls. The wood core is a mix of european poplar and ash sandwiched with two very high quality dryglass laminates. Above the base, there is a full uni-directional kevlar layer which is responsible for the mindblowing  response of the POGO boards. The base is of double sintered P-tex 4000 with the typical POGO black and white stripes. The base should be waxed on a regular basis to utilize its extraordinary qualities. It is very resistant to stones.At the points where the bindings put pressure on the edge, special titan-aluminium reinforcements are added. They reduce tension peaks and protect those sensitive points. We are lucky to have a small producer of epoxy glue in highest quality right in our neighboorhood. In our presses, with special engineered temperatur regulation, that glue gets hardened under perfect temperature and cooled down very slowly (– this guarantees long term stability).A 3-layer rubber dampening frame absorbs any vibration and is responsible for the gigantic high speed stability of the POGO boards. As well it protects the board from delaminations.To optimize the torsional flex of our alpine boards in the tail, we cut out a halfmoon shaped piece. That leaves our typical sharktail. The leftover piece of the cutout has the serial number of the board printed on it and serves the owner as a key clip. The nose of the board contains rubber.
The lifetime of a snowboard is limited by the reduction of camber and response (and of course the edges). POGO snowboards takes this into account when constructing the boards. The first days the boards might be a little bit harder to ride. But after this break-in time you will enjoy the ride attitude of your snowboard for a long time – longer than most other snowboards.
