Our dear friend Thierry "Grand" Wenzel died tragically in an avalanche in Ushguli/Georgia in 2014. He was one of the first workers and helped POGO from the beginning. Grand founded the brand ZigZag (collapsible touring skis) because of his backcountry passion. Not only was he a ripping Snowboarder but a superior alpinist and backcountry enthusiast. His death was a big shock for all of us. R.I.P. Grand, we will never forget you!
